Health Systems: Country of the moment and why?
China is currently in a major economic transition. The development of health services provides a major challenge for the country but also an opportunity to shape the health system, and formulate health policies to fit a very diverse rural and urban environment.

What should be our goal in International Health over the next 10 years?
 I think one of our goals in International Health should be to pay closer attention to the most pressing health needs of developing countries and to allow this increased awareness to channel funding and program design more effectively. Health issues must be considered with a global dimension to be impactful.
